American comic writer and artist Sam Kieth has died. I am an admirer of his work but never got around to reading “The Maxx.” He was prolific in the comic space and wrote and drew for both DC and Marvel. I become enamored with The Maxx’s animated MTV adaption in 1995. The DVD release featuring all of the shorts has been out of print for a while, but I finally managed to find a new sealed copy this week.
